Interlace VR LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you play our virtual reality games (the “Game” or “Games”) distributed through the Meta Horizon Store / Meta Quest platform.
By downloading, installing, or playing our Games, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
a. Information automatically collected through the Meta Quest platform
Meta (Meta Platforms, Inc.) provides the underlying operating system, store, and services for the Meta Horizon Store. Meta collects device information, usage data, crash reports, and other analytics on your Quest headset. This data is governed by Meta’s own Privacy Policy: https://www.meta.com/legal/quest/privacy-policy/
b. Information we collect directly in our Game using Sentry (sentry.io)
To help us improve game stability and fix bugs, we use the third-party error-tracking service Sentry. When the Game crashes or experiences certain errors, the following data may be sent to Sentry’s servers:
• Crash stack traces and error logs
• Device type (e.g., Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro)
• Unity engine version and basic hardware specs (CPU/GPU type, RAM)
• Game version and build number
• A randomized anonymous user ID (no Oculus/Meta username or ID is sent)
• Timestamp and general location derived from IP address (country-level only)
We do not collect through Sentry:
• Your name, email address, Meta account ID, or any other personally identifiable information
• Precise geolocation
• Payment information
• Chat messages, voice data, or any user-generated content
c. Future telemetry (if added later)
If we add additional analytics or telemetry providers in future updates, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you via an in-game message or update notes on the Meta Horizon Store.
2. How We Use the Information
• To identify, debug, and fix crashes and bugs
• To understand which parts of the game are causing performance issues
• To improve future versions of the Game
• To generate aggregated, anonymized statistics about game stability (e.g., overall crash rate)
We do not use the data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
3. Sharing of Information
We share crash and error data only with:
• Sentry – acting as our processor under a Data Processing Agreement that complies with applicable laws
• Our own developers and contractors who need the data to fix issues (bound by confidentiality)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
4. Data Retention
Crash reports are retained by Sentry for 90 days by default, after which they are automatically deleted unless we explicitly choose to keep a specific issue longer for debugging purposes.
5. How to Request Deletion of Your Data
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data that we have collected.
To submit a data deletion request:
• Contact us directly via email at privacy@interlacevr.com.
• In your request, please include details such as the nature of your request (e.g., “I am requesting deletion of my data”) and any relevant identifying information (such as the anonymous user ID associated with your device, if known). This helps us locate and process your data accurately.
We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or other relevant regulations. We may require additional information to verify your identity and fulfill the request. Please note that deletion requests will apply only to data we control (e.g., crash reports collected via Sentry). Data collected by Meta (e.g., through the Meta Quest platform) is governed by Meta’s privacy policy, and you should contact Meta directly for requests related to their data: https://www.meta.com/legal/quest/privacy-policy/.
If you have any questions about the deletion process, you can also reach us at the same email address.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can opt out of Sentry error reporting at the title/settings screen. Even if you opt out, Meta’s own analytics and crash reporting will still apply (see Meta’s privacy policy).
You also have the right to request access to or correction of your personal data that we have collected. To make such a request, please contact us at privacy@interlacevr.com. Provide details about your request, including any relevant identifying information (such as the anonymous user ID associated with your device, if known). We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable laws and may require additional information to verify your identity and process the request.
7. Children
Our Games are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International Transfers
Sentry is based in the United States. Data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and Sentry’s compliance with applicable data-protection laws.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the Game’s store page and, when possible, via an in-game notice.
